Preparing for Mount Trusmadi...

yup, in 2 hours time, germany will be playing against spain, which is y i stay up til now n hav nth to do... so i decide to update a bit here...

yes, i will be departing from Sibu on the 1st July on my 2nd trip to KK, Sabah (the land below the wind/negeri di bawah bayu) which is my fav place in malaysia other than my hometown... however enthusiastic i may be, i've always feel the pressure n the fear... pressure from parents coz they are worried bout me climbing a mountain which i, myself hav not a single idea of... my mum especially is always worried about where i'm gonna stay, wat i'm gonna eat etc etc n sometimes even i cannot answer all the ques she bombarded wif but instead i try my best to comfort her tat i will be just fine, despite not having a fit body for mount climbing... second is the fear n the fear of death... my biggest fear is not death actually but to know tat if i died up there in the mountains, all my love ones will be so sad n i really don't want tat to happen... but sometimes i could not help but to fear death (not to the extent of suddenly wake up in the middle of the night n found myself sweating bcoz of nightmare lah)

to climb a mountain is actually a humbling process,
to see how great God is...
to see how beautiful His creations are...
to see how little I am...
to see how small my problems are...
to see this world thru His eyes...

i therefore surrender everything to Him, all my fears, all my expectations and all my dreams... do remember me in your prayers... will keep u all updated wif my pics... can't wait to take sui sui pics up there...

meanwhile, look at wat i found out about mount Trusmadi online...

Mount Trusmadi, measuring at 2,462m, is Malaysia’s second highest mountain after Gunung Kinabalu but is said to offer a much more challenging climb. Its richly forested slopes, inhabited by a myriad species of birds and animals, are a trekker's dream.

Trusmadi Mount, at 2,462m or 8,669ft, is Malaysia’s second highest mountain after Gunung Kinabalu (4,101m or 13.433ft) but is much tougher to climb. It lies between the districts of Tambunan to the north and Keningau to the south (in the state of Sabah in Borneo).

Unlike Mount Kinabalu which is visited by thousands of people every year, Mount Trusmadi – situated some 70km southeast of Kota Kinabalu – is not a tourist mountain and is rarely visited. Until recently, only one or two expeditions climb the mountain each year.

The slopes of the mountain, which are covered with rich vegetation houses many species of birds, animals and plants, making it a trekker's haven.

The summit is reputed to have the best dawn view of Mount Kinabalu, which lies over 40km to the north. A unique pitcher plant, Nepenthes x trusmadiensis (a natural hybrid between Nepenthes lowii and Nepenthes edwardsiana) is found here and nowhere else.

Hehe, view of Mount Kinabalu from Mount Trusmadi... at least this pic motivates me to climb... later can take this view wif my own camera... so syok...

in the meantime, i better prepare myself for the tiger leeches there... arggghhhh!!! see the name already give me creeps...

The Hulk and Wanted

haha... watched 2-not-so-nice-but-ok-lah-movies this week... sometimes it really hard to see beyond wat the movie wans to tel us... different ppl hav different understanding of what the director is trying to convey... in one particular movie, the characters of the movie believe in an old organization who actually assassinate ppl whose's name appear from the thread mill... and how strong their belief is in the 'thread-mill' which is non-nonsensical to some ppl, but somehow there are ppl who like to judge things according to their own mentality??? y is it tat ppl oweys hav to think logically??? hav they lost hope in humanity and miracles??? instead of whining and wallowing in the crude truth of reality, y don't they go out n do sth good, even picking up rubbish from the floor will do...

Happy Father's day...

Heavenly Father,

juz wanna wish u a very happy father's day today... it was great juz to enjoy ur presence today... i really thank you for pulling me back when i was 16... tat time i was so far away from u, yet u din forget me after all these years... u were always there til now and i really thank u for everything tat u've done in my life...

Earthly Father,

since young, u've oweys give me choices to make, to which i often misinterpreted as inattention to me... u let me choose which school i wanna go during kindergarten, which frens to go out wif, what activities i join, what movie to watch, what kind of music i listen to... u never interfere wif things i like... u even gav me the choice to choose the faith in which i really cherish... n i believe tat makes me who i am today... u've given me a free will, tat i can learn to be independent since young unlike my other siblings who stil can't make their own decision by themselves, maybe due to the fact tat i m the eldest in the family... u never ask me where the money u gav me goes to, u never ask anything when i ask for extra pocket money, u've paid my air-tickets back so willingly even though at times i was so fed up wif studies n juz needed a five days break to go home... although there r times tat ppl don believe tat i m ur daughter coz our attitude is so much different... i'm always the noisy n loud one whereas u r the quiet n soft... but somehow u've been the best father one could ever hav... u often giv good advices in which i find great joy n peace to adhere... juz wanna tel u tat u're the best dad one could ever wish for!

MU all the way... then schweinsteiger got red card... i think the referee got pms... simply giv cards the whole match... i'm now starting to get use to the really-long-like-2-hours-per-football-match... but then i was trying hard to keep my eyelids open the whole morning(!)

btw, who on earth name their children schweinsteiger???!!!
for your information,
schwein = pig
steiger = one who climb mountain

juz wanna share sth here...

definition : idle talk or rumour, esp about personal or private affairs of others

so is talking non-stop the whole night on the hp wif someone u trust about other ppl's daily routine n behaviour considering gossiping?

sometimes we hav to look at the big picture instead of a tiny speck... tat's is how i come to realise my breakthru of the day... looking at the big picture... sometimes its hard to realise my own mistakes, but its harder if other ppl tend to look on ur mistakes all the time n think tat they themselves r the most perfect ppl on earth... n the worst thing is, they expect u to follow their way, to which according to them, is the best way to act... in the end, i try to change, only to find them becoming more n more like our old selves...

therefore, before we judge ppl, plz look at ourselves first, are we behaving like ppl who we judge?

there are times when we shud take one step backwards to see the things in a wider perspective n not to judge things in a narrow minded way...

juz some 2 cents from me...

posts tat nearly din make it here...

usually when the internet is down n i had this inspiration to blog about some stuff, i wud juz type it out in a word document n then thinking tat i might post it up later but somehow, i keep forgetting n juz as i wonder where did all the stuff on my desktop came from, i found these :

(the posts tat nearly din make it here)

for me, this year good friday was also as normal as my birthday... haha... mainly because we din hav holiday like back in Sarawak... shudn't hav take for granted the holiday i had before... but anyway, class was on as usual but the good friday night service at church was a blast... we watch a sermon on 'indescribable' and i was in awestruck wonder at the works of our creator, who creates the heavan and earth juz by saying it out loud... 'Let there be light' - and light juz came out of his mouth at 3x10^8 m/s... and watever ppl say about big bang n stuff, i do believe tat when this world is created, it must've been an immense explosion wif a 'big bang'... coz things juz came true when words are being spoken... how amazing is tat?

it was also a day which i was reminded again, tat salvation might be 'free' but it surely took a lot of sacrifices from someone who love us so much tat He is willing to give up his heavenly throne to dwell among flesh as flesh....

and this :

Rumblings ramble

Oweys happen when I watch sth emo… it makes ppl miserable even thinking of it… eww…

Oweys I feel hurt even when ppl say sth accidentally n even though I knew they don really mean wat they say… stil I feel hurt… do u feel meh babeh!?!?!

Oweys I feel there’s a lot of weirdos out there… ya I noe I might be one to some ppl but hey, this is my blog! Hah! So I’ll say there’s some weirdo out there who might be reading this but who might not be reading this too!!! So to one of the weirdos out there, wud u mind do wat u say n not say one thing but do another? Don lose my trust in u okay???

But hey, I had a great day today as well. Felt tat maths paper was ok… ok, it was pretty easy!!! Wooot!!! Haven been able to say this before coz physics n mechanics nearly took my breath away(literally) when I first look at those papers… chem up next n I m so gonna beat u down this time!!! WATCH ME!!!

Yesterday’s forum was quite an eye-opener for me even though I was one of the panel sharing on stage on my views on relationship wif my veli cina engrish. Haha. I learn tat we can grow in love… hmmm… one new thing to learn… often we often give and take in a relationship, but actually we can also grow together in love… it kinda remind me tat the ultimate Love, everyone’s first Love, which we often forsake…

Selah... The Beginning...

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

6 And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

9 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good.

11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.

14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.

24 And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food." And it was so.

31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.
